These are some pieces I did for Blue Tile Lounge's "Rolling Through the 60's" skateboard art exhibition. It was my first time painting on a skateboard. And shoes for that matter.
This is just a fun sketch I did. Colored up in the computer. I might do an actual painting of this one. I like the curves and lines. Partly inspired by my bucks night coming up this weekend at the Burlesque Bar. Should be fun!
Ok, up here's the sketch comparison of a drawing I've don for fun. It's just one of my sketch book pics I decided to color up in the computer to develop my skills.
This is the final pic. I added some wood texture and blood in the background for that little extra love.
Here is my Painting for the Truly Deeply 2010 Art for Heart exhibition/charity auction. Which is always a fantastic event. Going to drop it off tonight. My second painting was destroyed by a vicious and vengeful falling photo frame. I think it got jealous.
Had some fun here doing my own versions of the beloved Scooby-Doo Gang. I've broken it down here to 3 simple stages. 1 Initial pencil/paper sketch 2 Flat base colors 3 Colored linework, shadows, highlight and ambient lighting.
